Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater
3 National parks in 4 days

Departure from Arusha
With the Land Cruiser fully packed, we left Arusha for our first destination, Taranqire National Park.

Taranqire National Park
Didn't take long for the first 'big' animals to cross our path.

We spent the night at a nice camp site near Lake Manyara.

Serengeti National Park
Scenic views along the way as we continue towards Serengeti National Park, passing Ngorongoro Crater where we will stop on the way back.

After entering the National Park it didn't take long for us to encounter a couple of lions along the road. They seemed to enjoy the shadow offered by the cars very much.

Later on more lions and a lazy leopard.

The following day was spent entirely in the National Park.

Seeing that crocodile in action was luck for us, not so much for the small gazelle.

Another rare sight was this Cheetah.

Spending two nights inside the park among all those animals was a really unique experience.

Ngorongoro Crater
Our camp site on the crater rim was frequented by a bunch of Zebras.

The crater floor is grassland and therefore home to large packs of grazing animals like Gnus, Zebras and Gazelles. It's an amazing landscape.
